Introduction
First of all I do explain to you, dear readers, and also to myself, what kind of work am I doing here: in short, what I am doing [here] is to meditate. And allthough there is much claim of the opposite, meditation means nothing special at all. In its simpliest terms [...] meditation means to reflect on a reality while creating that reality by doing so. In some more differentiated terms what I am doing here is essencially the work of a mystic, an occultist and a magician. This filigrane triangulation also defines me personally in this place. In the same manner as a mangaka is one, that draws manga, I explain you a mystic, an occultist and a magician by what they do. A mystic is one, who quests for the undefinable. An occultist is one, who has clarity on hidden relations. A magician is one, who does understand and use such knowledge to gain and maintain health, wealth and wisdom. Intentionally I do not write, that a magician does attempt to alter, or alter fate. This is because the terms of fate and altering fate allways come together with the idea of two things: a) a potentially opposite force that does control ones life and future and b) that shit happens if nothing is done or changed at all. In fact actually one can't really do nothing nor change nothing, as already thinking of 'nothing' may reveal, that "nothing" actuallly IS something. And actually allready this does change it. And this respectively does change that, what changes all about. If you weren't able to understand the last three lines you need to drink more water. Have at least two liters a day to be in a state with your body where you can meditate in order to reveal all the truth you may want to know. So change IS what one does happens anyway and the fate stuff is but a matter of sight and belief. But not so for escaflowne! You must have seen the series at least once completely in order to profit by studying this text. Besides you must have affinity to the non official occult sciences. And this is a pinhole for most. So the escaflowne white book is intentionally made for some double initiated people. For anybody else I do write and talk in riddles. Authenticity I am born in germany with hungarian as a part of my
mothers language. After leaving school somewhere with a middle class education,
my english skills have been developed by utilising and extending
them. I allways have a books and the internet available and do use
them to get new words.
This book has been first started by Isa'ac, who added to it some pages of Leons diary. Later it all somehow must have become property of Dreiden, and either of whom kept it sealed for a long time. It is said to be, that this book has been the key to Dreidens wealth. When he did not need it anymore, he gave it to Merle in order to guard it until someone really deserving appears. Merle then decided to put it secretly into Hitomis bag as a present, just before Hitomi was about to finally travel back to earth. So then, after she had arrived and some years later, Hitomi told it to me through dreams, who is writing it down again for all initiated eyes (only). It is also said, that Dreiden has collected parts of the book from various origins, the most exotic of which to regard are the Ispano. There are rumours that who entirely understands his writings, would be able to construct and pilot an escaflowne type melef. At least the book is said to bear parts of the plans for one. Personally I believe, as the Ispano are nearly inaccessible, either Isaak or Dreiden has, or both have probably drawn most of those informations, if any, from the atlantean library of wisdom. Sometimes I refer to tarot cards by the words "keys" or to a single card by the word "key". Everytimes when I write about or cite a key without further notes, I relate to the traditional decks one may know as rider, waite, golden dawn or bota. Allthough the crowley cards share allmost the same order, I do not even count therion's deck as a traditional, rather as art. Using them with this book may or may not work. Whenever I relate to Hitomi's kind of tarot I do allways express this by the words "Hitomi's", "merlin deck" or similar. X-static words in brackets like (Amsel) often are german or other language translations. Also hebrew letter names are written mainly in german and allmost pronounced as if they were so. Sometimes, but not allways, the special german letter "ä" is used in them and in some other words to express a vovel sounding similarly to the a in at or and, distinguishing it from an a, that in german is pronounced like the a in father. In other cases, where pronounciation is not that relevant to the understanding, but rather the idea(s) of a word or letter name, the letter e is used istead of ä just like allmost anywhere else. All numerical references to traditional keys (tarot cards) are started with 0 (zero), even if I write e.g. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and so on. Distinguishing Merlin deck starts with 1 and so do references to that. The character informations, especially the birthdates and ages originate in various places. There is no ultimate source know to me. Escaflowne Compendium (frequently offline) tells to be authorised, but afaik I had to fix some few bits from there also. The majority of congruities has made it into this publication. More links in the references section. |

The
GMALF Pattern
The word Guymelef (guimelef, ger. pronounced gaimiläf) can be traced back to the hebrew root GMALPh, ger. Gimäläf, which is the united names of the two hebrew letters gimel (french guimel) and alef.
The similar vovels a/ä and the doubly present lamed appear united in the hebrew word Äl, god. The symbol of lamed may suggest the connection of the above (alef) and the below (gimel), upper and lower aegypt. Later we will learn, that the two l is a significant occult principle and is expressed by di-lando. After extracting the birthdates and birthtime period colors of the escaflowne main staff from various sources and combining the informations with GMALPh, we can draw and use a chart as displayed below. The birthtime period colors of the characters are considered as the beriatic colors of the ets chim and from there as the planetary attributions of the sefiroth. These are linked by the ruling planets of the zodiacal signs (as explained in the faq, only the classic 7 planets are used here) for each character. Van has the birth color of white and Isa'ac and Hitomi do not have any birth colors, as they are born on earth. The attributions of the GMALPh letters to the persons are somewhat more nested into the mysteries traditions and into the series and we do describe them step by step within below. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| We get a two featured system of a some
points hierarchic linkage and one single self reference. Millerna
is the only person, that has both a birth color and a ruling planet which
are attributed to the same sefirah. As i have seen this self reference
just drawn on my concept paper as a ring-shaped arrow, I've revealingly
got the idea that this self reference expresses the idea of a circle
and thus, compared to a vagina, breast, womb or ovum, a female principle.
Just to note, that Millerna, whom this relates to, truely is a woman.
So, remembering the hierachic linkage, i took it as a straight line
compared to my dick or a sperm, is matching a male priciple. As in GMALPh the ALPh is considered beeing the male part, alef and the sun may corelate to all characters in the hierarchic linkage. And as the majority of gaian characters is in that hierarchy, its now also confirmed again, that alef must be related to gaia. So for gimel, as we know gimel to be female, we can safely corelate gimel to Millerna. And because we allready considered the GML part as beeing related to earth (we learned that gimel is identical with any-thing material that exists), we get first time or again the idea, that there must be a hidden relation between earth and Millerna. Hitomi was intentionally left neither to gimel, nor to alef. This is done so, because she has prior affiliation to earth, but is also in gaia. Vice versa Van has prior affiliation to gaia, but is also, for a relatively very short time, on earth. He is Phe, the end of ALPh and what ALPh has in GML is his dick, the tower (or rather there is the tail of the snake in its own mouth, the ouroboros). As we explained before, AL of ALPh in GML is God. So hitomi in gaia becomes god. The linkage beyond this is not for incident. Its, except of Millerna, the standard hermetic ladder to heaven upside down, starting with moon and ending into saturn. Venus has been separated from the ladder for some reasons and saturn doesn't seem to be manifested at all, similarly like da'at, which is allways unmanifested. Isa'ak is the person that links the series to our ones world. This is so because it is Isa'ac Newton, who lived in the 17th century, explored gravity and light and who was born in the sign of capricorn (Isa'ac Asimov was born this sign, too). This sign, besides aquarius is ruled by saturn. So as one may have guessed before, the saturn planetary intelligence is, we may also call it binah, what links the end and the beginning of a series to the circle, making two relative worlds into one perfect. The result is symbolised by a horizontal 8 and also by the letter tav and the 21th tarot card "the world", that connects earth and moon. The neck of the 8 happens to be at the position of 7 and 7' (Millerna marries with Dreiden). The beth area (white) is somehow embedded into the neck. Or maybe the arrangement means that the neck is 6 and 7, where also 1 is attached to 9 via saturn. Just to mention some intercorrelation of Isa'ac Newton, Hitomi Van and the Guymelefs. Isa'sac and Hitomi both had a special relation to their grand mothers in their childhood. Hitomi has got her pendulum from her and as far i remember also the cards and some ideas how to use them. Isa'acs father died before Isa'acs birth. Then Isa'ac lived by his grand mother from the age of 3 years until he was 10. Exactly in the year 1700 he moved to london, where in that years has been the earthly manifestation of Zaibach. He died in the sign of aries, where Van was born and Van's father afair died before start of the series. Hitomis parents (and brother) do merely appear in the series if at all. Isa'ac Newton is cited to have said "If I am able to look more far than other people, it's because I stand on the shoulders of a giant." Parts of his biografy are interesting to read in conjunction with writing this book. Analogously annother inspiring cite of him: "I am able to calc the movement of the planets at a precision of centimeters, but not, where a crowd of mad people will drive a market price." (e.g. the dax, the german intro song "people" is sung by the "dax riders"). Surely many people say or write such sentences, I just think I had need these ones here. They perfectly fit into rewriting this book. Capricorn is attributed to the letter a'ain, that is in the name Isa'ac and also used for the devil, who is placed opposite to the world. Same seems Dornkirk. Capricorn further is exalted by mars, declined by jupiter and destructed by moon. In other terms Dornkirk is strenghtened by Dilando, weakened by Allen and Van (by Hitomi, by helping her beliefs coming true) and killed by Folken.
Folken even for uninitiated eyes may seem looking similar to the hermit on the 9 tarot key. The number relates to the moon. The attributed letter yod of the hermit has the gematric value of 10. The letters GMALPh sum up to 154, which has a cross total of 10, essence 1. One also can count a cross total for gmalph regardless of the zeros, resulting in 19. It's nothing special, that ninetteen reduces to ten or one also, as the ending results must be logically allways the same for any mode by that a cross total is built for the same digits. It's just worth to write, that 19 may become 10 by either annother cross total or by the traditional loss of 9, the mathematical fact, that nines never change any essential sum. This fact proves, ensures and promises, that for Hitomi and finally for Van also the loss of Folken does count nothing. The not-son kills the not-father, while the fatherless son helps defeat the not-father. This plot is the same for escaflowne and also for nadia (where jean is in a similar situation as hitomi, and nadia is the not-son, loosing her atlantean personality who was manifest as her brother; nadia has a lion, that may be compared to merle, balancing the duo of nadia and king to a similar state as Van and Merle, so that one can detect, that merle genderly equals nadia, while king by gender and in the former function of his name equals van; we may also note, that van and nadia share the same clothes and hair colors and king is white as is the birth color of van; jean is also instructed but by his grand parents). In all this, Van is the King (by ancestry from since he defeated a dragon, which has been his ... destiny (mede how? by whom? if anybody)), Dilando is the not-king als long as Van does not really have the qualities of a king. One can try to change these attributes of Folken and Dilando. Geting a similar picture in total. There are around 10 main characters listed in the chart above. Allthough Dilando and Serena may be knowingly counted as one person yet, they do exclude each other in the timeline and therefore we may count them two in this chart. Isa'ak seems worthy to be not counted at all, because he actually has allready changed into Dornkirk and as of his past earthly being, interest and hebrew name also relates to Hitomi and Da'at, the unmanifested sefriah. The number 10 as a symbol is attributed to the wheel of fortune tarot card (caph), which bears the essence of escaflowne. We note also, that in the merlin deck the tower (phe) is the card at the alefbeth position of the letter caph. This letter is attributed to the wheel of fortune in the original deck. Going deeper into the quabalah, 10 is also the number of malkuth, planetariely the earth, and malkuth is attributed to Guph, the pyhsical body. Also Guph is similar GMALPh itself and to the english word gap, while in escaflowne there is a dimensional gap said to be between gaia and the moon of illusions, which is the earth. Being Hitomi in Gaea is to be the center of expression of the universal beeing of the All and One, which is the occult Eye everywhere at once. Consider, from this phase of understanding the physical body appears to be a vehicle, the Guph. While normal Gaian Guymelef are pure things (machines), Escaflowne from the Ispano has the spirited potential to unite with the king, who only may be its pilot. A Map Of The Gap
The map can be drawn like this, with the intention to fit it to the design of the tower tarot card and to the letter phe (turned 90° counter clock). To the left is Hitomi's, to the right an esoteric version that is used in a mystery school. The tower is the sword in action, the talking tongue in the mouth and the esoteric sun shining through mercur, crowned by mars, smacked by jupiter and destroyed by moon. The tower is not but the grey area in the map, the tower is the entire map. The names of Van and Allen are James A. van Allen, an astronomer who 1958 discovered an energy belt or fields of intense rays surrounding the earth. These fields have been called after him, so it's known as the Van Allen Belt. I made it appear as the table row with Van's and Allen's name here. It's separating ability, for explample the separation of earth and gaia, is emphasized by the grey block. This grey block in a black court is intended to symbolise frozen moonlight and may be called "La Barriere", accordingly to that boy from the series. "Migel" is spanish for Mikhaäl, the arch angel of fire (who is displayed on the 14th tarot card), and fire is added to gaia by Dilando. The name of Marlene means a refractory light and as hebrew words they may also be translated as "woman of the tower". The refraction of the rays is done by Mr. Albato. His second name is a powerplay with the word "-> albedo <-", the ability of surfaces, especially planetary surfaces, to reflect light. And besides the earth, that cannot be seen in this map, the moon is the known planet with the all greatest ability to reflect and refract light. Migel, named at the bottom, may be seen as fallen in this picture, just like a fallen angel. And so is he in the series. His first letter M, hebrew mem, we did relate to Merle, whose zodiacal sign cancer is ruled by the moon. And as for Merle (her name is poetic english for "blackbird" (Amsel), note the black area around the grey), it might have been for Marlene, whose first letter is also mem. While Marlene expresses the light beeing refracted by the moon, the lightning in the top right corner actually is a feature of the greek god zeus (who equals the roman jupiter) in the ancient mythologies. Jupiter himself, in our ladder to heaven, rules Allen and is related to the number 4, which is the number of the tarot card of aries (the emperor), while aries is Van's zodiacal sign. I draw these relations beeing part of the esoteric background in that Allen's slightly dominative traits over Allen have their root. The bigger part in that is the fact, that Van's aries is ruled by mars, and mars is subsequent to jupiter in the heavenly ladder. Possibly besides this Van's relation to a mars related woman is expressed in his mother's name Varie, which can be understood as a combination of Van and aries. I do not relate it to meanings in the direction of variety and similar. Rather Varie is a variation of Van and aries and expresses something like mars. Just to note for some variety-style over-completeness, the letter mem is the 13th lettter in the hebrew alfabeth. While, allthough Merle is 13 years old, such positions of a letter in that alefbeth are rarely used in any occult writings, 1+3 sum up to 4, our number of jupiter. Traditionally the way to the same goal is to look at the numeric value of Mem, which is 40 and there we have the 4 also (and allways so for all hebrew letters). The 13th tarot card instead, and occultists calculate cross sums of their numbers rather, is of the next letter nun and scorpio, the zodiacal sign of Allen. ... The tower tarot card (first episode) more especially can be seen as similar to the vione, the floating fortress of the zaibach empire. There is something rock under, with a building or buildings built on it. In the same manner as the tower is the sword in action, the name of Zaibach correlates to the hebrew letter zain, meaning sword. So the vione is a manifestation of all meanings, happenings and abilities of the tower. And like frozen moonlight can be simply dissolved by warming it up, the levitating fortresses do allmost just vanish when exposed to the rising energys of self consciousness, formerly called good. Zain itself is the lovers card (last episode). The Flying Rocks For more convenience I insert a chart of all
tarot cards and their relations to characters and events here. They are
called rocks, because one may build on them. But, compared to
the Zaibachians, the flying ships of the others use at least two
separate rocks, one left, one right, expressing the idea of balance
and equal opportunites, as can be seen on the 6th card.
This part of the book reveals in details how the GMALph pattern is linked to the ladder to heavens. Do start your investigations at key 2, the high priestess, which unites the moon and the letter G. Chid, followed by Merle, are the youngest viz. first born childs. To understand the essence of "first born", one must think backwards from where they are closest to the series first release date (for you the date when you have first seen t.v.o.e., = virtual year 0). Allthough some relations seem to be weak or found/made/set per incident, consider that others are strong, so that if one applys the GMALph letters in sequence to the ladder as done, it strenghtens the weaker relations such as A to Dornkirk and Dryden. One that does so, will finally consider the GMALph pattern as a fact with the same level of evidence as the usual astrological and tarot system. It will surely help for understanding to imagine the characters as in the roles of the persons of the tarot cards as well as imagining some of them nude, especially where nudity is shown by the bota deck. Watch the symmetries and learn sacred tarot and hebrew alphabet occult relations by the invocation of the vision of escaflowne. Learn understanding escaflowne by the invocation of hermetic occultism. Learn understand yourself. |

Meaning of zodiacal sign: special function of character
in the cast
The meanings of the ruling planets and the color seem to be turned around for Van because he is expected to be the/a hero while in fact he isn't. Similar applies for Dilando, who is expected to be perfect while in fact he is a child. ruling planet: what a character appears to be (true for the first half of episodes, specially except Dreiden who only appears exactly in the second half) planet of color: what a character effectively does and then becomes in the second half of episodes The background colors are given according to the birth colors, the keys that unite with the zodiacal sign of a character (except Hitomi and Isa'ac for which white is chosen by instinct and except Chid and other secondary charactes) and letters of gmalf. Where two colors come together by doing such, they can be mixed to average. When merging colors from other relations into, the results are the perfect unity of white, black, yellow, citrine and russet. All the colors of malkuth (Hitomi) an kether (Van) are the unity of än sof or. This can be done especially through key 1, the magican, but without green, so that one gets the russet (a brown tone). Millerna does not mix per default as she is not linked to the GMALPh ladder, so one must marry her to Dryden to get the citrine. Implically this means death for Dornkirk & Co. And this is exactly what a human must do with nature to keep it in-tact. Do not misunderstand this, there is no need for a human man and woman to marry etc. There is a need for one to understand to mix the colors and to marry the green to become transcendental unity from where this can be done safely. 0: 1: Merle is not really a mess in the first 13 episodes. that's but a subjective impresion. in fact she is the one that clears all things (as can be heared in her german voice). The true mess until the end is Hitomis personality (and the german voice of Dilly). - see notes on 18 Guimel, Dalet, Chesta and Gatti are killed in episode 14 (card of episode: the magician; the 14th letter is Nun, the death) by Van. Dilandau in some episode asks for Viole after he is dead. At least one of the two fish that together are the pisces can be the fish in the name of Nun.
If one turns the day into the night, the night into the day, the sun becomes moonshine, e.g. Dilando (äshmodai, destructive fire) and Folken (fake moon) and the moon becomes Dornkirk, the artifical sun and fake sunshine. Joy and will become luck and fate. And if one turns it all back, Dornkirk vanishes, Folken dies, Dilando becomes Serena, the sun becomes the sun and the moon becomes the moon and everything on earth and in heavens becomes love, joy and will. 2: Dornkirk and Naria are of similar shape and color as of the high-priestess on key 2. Especially Dornkirks hair also has rythmic whirls like the rythm that is pointet out by the waves and folds of the clothes of the high-priestess (click for larger pic).
In german "Dorn" is the word for thorn (e.g. of a rose), reminding me to both the crown of the crucified jesus and the two crescent horns of the crown of the high-priestess. The crucified viz. degenerated jesus means the sign of pisces, united with the moon by key 18.
Dilando has a hairdo similar to those crescents to, but even more similar to the crescents-with-faces on the shoulders of the chariot. Dilando has a pair of artifical thorns on his shoulder armor, one on each and both perfectly round and symmetric. Compared to natural thorns Dilando's may seem over-perfect. Just as over-perfec as his face. So Dilando is the unlucky crossing of the innocent high-priestes and a degenerated magician. 3: first letter of the duo Dornkirk and Dryden who both are related to the holy spirit in A Sh (äsch fire) and who are the spiritual father and son whose unity is the selfrealisation and -expression of that spirit (aka ruach älohim, aka kamikaze). 18: thou remember the three persons of whoom I wrote in my introduction. The mystic, the mage and the occultist. These are the three jod. They are degenerated as Naria (the "mystic" moon), Merle (the magician) and Folken (the occultist). Folken himself says in one of his first appearances (i.e. to Van after Van knows who he is his brother) something like: "I now have true clarity on the whole circumstances. We have declared war to the war." Today we know, that he and his idea have demised. This does not mean he wasn't right with his measurement. More personally it has been Van, who decided to be revengeful and to fight his brother. And Folken was but a seer, a wise man (see key 9), apparently on the wrong side but that's just a matter of a subjective or objective perspective. A brother by definition is in fact somebody else, familiarly next to one. And in strict binary logic this is the opposite contrast, beeing further contrasted by neither-nor, which leads towards alef-zero, i.e. Dornkirk and Dreiden and after all everyone is a brother (or sister). But especially the high-priestess real logic is actually somewhat more like trinary and this is the reason why gematria starts with 1, not zero, and gematria of gimel is thus 3, not 2 - - - though the third state is somewhat true trancendent and - while itself can only find expression via dalet - connects to the next generation, i.e. the next digit. So this is why dalet comes after gimel, the series has 2*13 episodes, the names of Dornkirk and Dryden start with D and Dryden viz. Dreiden for the number three follows from since episode 14 in relation to the sun (spiritual son, father-like). Vice versa this reveals Dornkirk as the spiritual (binary) father (i.e. mother in origial matriarchaic terms, called in german slang "the mother of all facts, die mutter aller tatsachen") as beeing so with the number 2 and the moon for the first 13 episodes. Dornkirk is of similar shape and color as the high priestess on key 2. So after beeing refined, together with Millerna rel. the woman of key 3, dalet venus, married to Dreiden, all these three persons of the trinity are shown on key 20 as the nude woman, child and man, beeing isis, typhon (rel. hoor-pa-craat viz. harpocrates, the young horus, god of silence, who is expressed by the eye on the bag of the fool) and osiris. Key 18 unites pisces with moon. In episode 18 Hitomi, Van and Allen arrive in Dornkirks Castle, where he clears mostly everything about himself. At least one of the two fish that together are the pisces is surely meant by the fish in the name of Nun. |
The Lost Ones
This is a picture showing Dilando in his red
armoured uniform sitting on a veiled chair, that seems to be made of one
part or combined with the lion sculpture behind him. On each side stands
one blue dragonslayer in the middle fron of a column. The clear white
Background is partially covered by a hanging two large pieces of courtain
bound to each side. A sword is placed horizontally into the mouth
of the lion, so that the lion seems to hold it in the mouth. Besides this
i guess that the sword is loose and it's Dilandos sword or a sword for
Dilando, that he can take and use. It also seems that he can't take
that sword too quickly from where it resides because of its weight and
length. Maybe the lion also holds a grip unto it with his teeth. A stone
lion holding a grip? This is surreal. But watch Dilando. Isn't he bored
or thinking on something? Does he want the sword? Does he want the sword
either or is he disburdened and relieved to rest the sword for at least
a moment?
